The Royal Scots Cap Badge

This is a classic intermediate reel that is great for pipers looking to step up their repertoire.

Bill's instruction is terrific. I've loved this tune since I was a boy and now it's back thanks to Bill. I really like the way points his music. Great expression and really clear.

Thank you Dennis. I endeavour to convey expression and clarity that you appreciate in my tunes of the month. These are points taken up for playing solo mainly. Bands generally avoid such expression for the sake of unity at all costs without risks, although many competant bands sound good enough just the same. Of course often the really good clarity of execution suffers, and the large number of pipers in top bands makes clarity even more difficult.

I used to go for reasonable expression and tried to have good clarity of execution with bands I had.

All the best,
Bill
