Thank you as always for the new tune. They always seem to sneak up on me each month! I particularly like 9/8 tunes, and the Friendly Piper is a worthy air.

Incidentally, my favorite tune so far has been The Old Woman's Lullaby. I learned it some months ago and surprised an instructor whom I see occasionally. He said that he hadn't heard the tune in years and now each time I take a lesson he asks me to play it for him. Of course he said that there is room for improvement in my phrasing, but I continue to work at it.
