This was a pleasant surprise.I had tried unsuccessfully to find a copy of the music after watching a YouTube video of Gordon Walker doing it justice at a Glenfiddich Ceilidh in 2003.

Many thanks for all your good work

Thank you John, and glad I was able to help with the music for you. Thak you also for the fine photograph of you with your kilt well worn and a good level that is better than many wearing the kilt today. Your pipes as they are in the photo are a bit of a "give away" in that the tenor drones and upper bass drone have the drones far too far down the pins indicating that your drone reeds are poorly set with regard to the bridles most likely not at the optimum positions for good steady tone etc. Beware of tenor drones tuning below the hemp line accordinly. It is good practice to have the upper part of the bass drone set with about 5mm or so of hemp showing as it helps to avoid nasty striking in double tone. Of course the lower part will tune usually much lower. Some help in my website left of main page Bagpipe Articles on tuning etc. Regards, Bill
