Hi Bill.

Found this site of yours by chance when looking for inspiration and found it.

Thank you so much.

I started to learn the Pipes; after a tour in the Fleet Air Arm RN; and whilst doing my resettlement training as a Psychiatric Nurse at 'Jimmies' St James Hosp Leeds.

We practices in the morgue at night, no one to upset!
I got as far as Brown Haired Maiden then my wife died of breast cancer!

Thus a student nurse, no living relatives, and two kids!

However, I returned at the age of 58, two years ago.

I consumed three Pipe Bands in 1.5 years. I am now 60.4 ish!

I found all three ageist and really only interested in themselves, and there personal advancement. But I enjoyed the social aspect, and taught myself.

I now do nurse psychotherapy via the internet, and so have much faith in remote teaching.

Banjo Breakdown was a 'bench mark' target for me.

I found thus your site, played your demonstration and my wife said "Well done, the first part sounded like it could have been you me on a good day!"

I can't thank you enough for that! I want to be the first 90 year old gold medallist.

People like yourself make it possible for people like me to have hope and ambition!!!

Once again thanks.

Thank you for your appreciation and some of your interesting background.
Yes, I find more and more each day that there are many people with their own interests in commerce, science, industry etc., with their agendas that appear to be not always truthful - often misleading- to their own benefit and sucking in others of note - including politicians etc.
I am pleased to be of help with my variuos lessons and my interactive DVDs.
All the best,
Bill - bapiper1@slingshot.co.nz
