Setup For Online Bagpipe Lessons

Below please find some advice for you to be able to take advantage of the Learn Bagpipes Online feature.
  • It would be advisable to have a reasonably reliable internet connection.
  • Bill uses SKYPE to conduct his lessons. This is a great FREE program that gives you the capability use audio and or video over the internet.
  • It would be beneficial to use a Web Cam with an inbuilt microphone. We recommend the Logitech brand. Bill uses a Logitech QuickCam Orbit Pro, it has auto focus and tracking which is a nice feature to use.

  • If you do not use a Web Cam the a desktop microphone will suffice.
If you do not want to use SKYPE, you can make arrangements with Bill to email him a sound file. He will listen to it and send you a reply.

Recording Your Bagpipe Lessons

Audding Audio To Your Website A friend of mine who has the website www.small-biz-marketing-tips.com and has written an excellent guide called Adding Audio To Your Website.

This 38 page guide will take you through the process of recording your audio, step by step. It is very well written and has clear, easy to follow instructions.

Although the tittle of this guide might lead you to think that it is for those who would like to add audio clips to there website, three of the five chapters cover equipment, recording and editing. The other two chapters are about uploading your audio to a website and I presume would not be applicable to you.

If you have any questions about the Learn Bagpipes Online process, please Contact Bill with your query.
