Looking for info on previous P/M

Hi Bill, my Partner and I are wondering if you knew Her Grandfather George Fraser who was Royal Scots. We believe he was Pipe Major late 50's. Unfortunately George passed away March earlier this year and we would love to gather more information on his time in the Army and as P/M

Hopefully hear from you soon.
Many many thanks, Ian & Amanda.

Hello ian,
Sorry to learn of George's passing.

As I was leaving The Royal Scots to settle here in NZ, I met George briefly at our Pennycook Barracks, late 1958. There was no contact with him since then.

I suggest that you look in a site with the name "Abode" who has collected much info' on British Army Pipe Majors. I notice you have an e mail for me where in my reply I'll try to give you Abode's e mail add.

All the best,

Bill/Robbie as in RS.
