Pipe Sgt (Ret.) Ronnie Tennant

by Ronnie Tennant
(Lorain, OH)

P/M Sandy Hain has been a teacher, mentor and friend to me for most of my adult life. He taught me to play the pipes shortly after coming to Cleveland on retiring from the Black Watch. I became a competent but never great piper as I had family and business matters that occupied much time. Also as Sandy once said, "You've the fingers and the talent. but you're a lazy bugger".

I have always admired Sandy, and count myself lucky to have him for a friend and teacher. I can always draw on his vast knowledge and experience for answers.
