The Shetland Fiddler and Willie Roy's Loomhouse
These two reels are a follow-up on last month's reels. I thought most of you would like to have the group to play or from which to select. Again they are as arranged by the great innovator and composer Pipe Major Donald Shaw Ramsay. These two were also played by the Pipes and Drums of the 1st Battalion The Royal Scots when I was in my early days with the regiment's Pipes and Drums. Pointers: as for last month. In the first reel if the D throws 2nd and 6th bars tend to be awkward, you may replace with high G grace note. The birl might be difficult for some 1st bar, replace with ,high G grace note a while.
